Sugar Beach Resort has two large, six story buildings, facing directly to the ocean (oceanfront units). Each building has a wing running perpendicular to the beach, facing down to the pool area (gardenview units on ground floor and oceanview units on floors 2 through 6). The oceanfront units are exactly as the photos show; facing directly to the beach and ocean, with unobstructed oceanviews. There are very few condo properties set this close to the ocean, with such a dramatic view.

PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS

Large pool area with Jacuzzi and a children's wading pool, oceanfront gas barbeques, two tennis courts, Set to the back of the property is a small convenience store, an activity center, and a small sandwich shop, bar and free on site parking. Sugar Beach is positioned to give guests great beach walks: from the property you will walk past one building and can then continue along the beach for 3.5 miles, until you reach the village of Maalaea. The units are are clean, comfortable, and provide a suitable "home away from home" experience. The units are laid out with the living/dining/kitchen area to the front facing the view, and the bedroom to the back (the bedroom has only small windows).

1BR OCEANFRONT CONDO:
The interiors include a bedroom with 1 Queen bed, central A/C, fully equipped kitchens, washers & dryers, cable television, free local phone service, private lanais and luxury linens. Maximum occupancy 4 guests using fold-out Queen sofa bed in the living room.

2BR OCEANFRONT CONDO:
Each of these larger units have an additional bedroom with either 1 Queen or 2 Single beds, central A/C, fully equipped kitchens, washers & dryers, cable television, free local phone service, private lanais and luxury linens. Maximum occupancy 6 guests using fold-out Queen sofa bed in the living room.

OF NOTE

Although first impression of Sugar Beach can be somewhat disappointing (two large, six story buildings), this will quickly disappear when you enter your unit. The view will more than make up for the lack of cosmetic appeal. Perfect if you plan to take long beach walks or runs.

Launch accessibility a short walk north of the property, though you will need to be an experienced and independent sailor due to the off-shore wind direction most of the year.
